Mac Vs PC: Numb3rs

Mrs Me and the Little Monkey are traveling to see some relatives for the night so I'm all by my lonesome whilst I get some work done. But once 11pm ticks around what am going to do? Nobody to curl up with I'm forced to make my own popcorn. A packet of Oreos and some Pepsi, I kick back on the couch and flip on the TV. Maybe the cold night will become tolerable after all... I can only imagine that Mrs Me set this up as a little gift to me to make my night not seem so empty. Thank you, Mrs Me. Yep, George Clooney was the guest on Letterman (I'll upload a copy of the interview in a couple of days) and during the commercial break my favorite detective show ran their season 5 promo using the Mac/PC format. Woot!

Hurry home family! Happy

David Cook - Billie Jean

An incredible arrangement of an amazing song... Not sure how long this will be up before it gets yanked but I have a copy I'll put up once it is.

Drillbit Taylor

Get Smart

I was a huge fan of Don Adams in the spoof TV show of Get Smart and watching the classic opening credits made me chuckle...

So when I heard that Steve Carell was going to be playing Special Agent Maxwell Smart in the forthcoming movie remake, I was certainly nervous... until I saw the trailer. To me he was typecast into 2 spectacular roles: Brick, from Anchorman and, of course, Michael Scott from The Office. His other roles have, in my mind, just been eye-roll worthy and pretty much meh. This could utterly fail for him (remakes of this kind are rarely win-win) but the fact he actually has such a strong resemblance for Don could just work in his favor. Oh, and also because it also stars the interesting Ann Hathaway who has really begun to make her mark in Hollywood in recent years with movies such as Nicholas Nickleby, Brokeback Mountain and The Devil Wears Prada. Though I'm not a huge fan of her acting on the whole she somehow does manage to pull her roles off and make the movies she is in all the more enjoyable. I'm torn, but I will definitely go and see this movie even if it is just to inspire me to go and buy the boxset of the original series on DVD. Check out the 2008 movie trailer:
